Peter McCormick教授是國際著名學者，他是已故哲學大師Hans-Georg Gadamer與Paul Ricoeur的 學生。他的專業領域涉及道德哲學、藝術哲學、歷史哲學、希臘哲學、以及當代法國與德國哲學等。目前他任教於International Academy of Philosophy, Liechtenstein並且是International Institute of Philosophy, Paris的副會長。
